PACE RAPPORTEUR TO GO TO KARABAKH DURING NEXT VISIT TO REGION

Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) rapporteur on Nagorno Karabakh Terry Davis will go to Nagorno Karabakh in the course of the second visit to the confrontation region. The rapporteur said at a meeting with the head of PACE Armenian delegation Hovhannes Hovhannisian. As reported by the press service of the National Assembly of Armenia, T. Davis also noted that within the framework of the visit he had met with NKR representatives and refugees from Azerbaijan. H. Hovhannisian emphasized that over 460 thousand Armenians had been deported from Azerbaijan, leaving some 100 houses, and they did not receive any compensation for the abandoned accommodation in contrast to Azeri refugees from Armenia.
