Armed Forces Day should become a great occasion for Armenians worldwide, according to an Armenian military expert.
“Army, the cornerstone of our statehood, every single day ensures safety of the Armenian people,”Artsrun Hovhannisyantold a press conference dedicated to 20th anniversary of the Armenian Armed Forces,
Mr. Hovhannisyan further urged against calling January 28 as Armenian army formation day, due to the Armenian army having centuries-old history.
“January 28 is the formation of Armenian armed forces,” the expert concluded.
