A member of ruling Republican Party of Armenia believes the party leader, President Serzh Sargsyan should top RPA parliamentary candidates list.
According to Hovhannes Sahakyan, “the high authority of the country’s leader may positively influence the outcome of the elections, promoting unity among the regional teams in achieving good results.”
The MP, however, refused to name No 2 and 3 in the candidate list calling it a part of “electoral intrigue.”
According to Sahakyan, RPA session due March 10 will focus on main principles in formation of the candidate list, election of party leader and the executive body.
