ARMENIAN DEFENSE MINISTER AND IRANIAN AMBASSADOR TO ARMENIA DISCUSSED SITUATION IN REGION

Today the current situation in the region was discussed by Armenian defense minister, secretary of the Security Council under the president Serge Sargsian and Iranian ambassador to Armenia Mohammad Farhad Koleini. As reported by the press service of the Armenian defense ministry, the interlocutors also considered prospects of the Armenian-Iranian cooperation. The Armenian defense minister also met with British ambassador to Armenia Torda Abbot-Watt. The interlocutors concerned issues of the Armenian-British military cooperation, regional security, peaceful settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict.
