Armenian and Russian Security Council Secretaries signed a protocol based on outcomes of negotiations.
NSC Secretary Artur Baghdasaryan assessed the talks as quite productive, with cooperation agreement reached in various fields.
The agreement stipulates Armenian-Russian cooperation in military-technical fields, establishment of joint military-industrial complexes, infrastructures on border with Iran and Turkey, as well as establishment of Armenian-Russian regional center for emergency situations.
“Hopefully, all agreements will be brought to fruition,” Baghdasaryan said.
“It was important to pay heed to viewpoints of the heads and representatives of agencies, present at the negotiations, as they are responsible for implementation of specific programs,” Security Council Secretary of Russia Nikolai Patrushev said.
