February 20 a festival of films of Armenian cinematographers will open in San Francisco. 30 full-length and short films of the feature and documentary genre will be shown at the cinema forum. Films from Armenia, recently shot by Albert Mkrtchian, Vigen Chaldranian and others, make a large number among them. Canadian Armenians are represented rather well – in the person of Atom Egoyan, Karine Torosian and others. As reported by Liberty radio station, K. Torosian’s film “My Soul,” which tells the love story of an Armenian girl and a Turkish fellow in Canada, is of special interest to the spectators.
