ANALOGY BETWEEN IRAQ AND KARABAKH NOT QUITE CORRECT, US AMBASSADOR TO AZERBAIJAN SAID

Drawing analogy between the situation in Iraq and Nagorno Karabakh is not quite correct. As reported by “Turan” agency, US ambassador to Azerbaijan Ross Wilson stated in Baku yesterday when answering the question whether the war in Iraq could become a precedent for military settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict. Meanwhile, the US diplomat doubted the reliability of the information on accommodating Armenian refugees from Iraq in Nagorno Karabakh. In his words, the total number of Iraqi refugees does not exceed 6 thousand and they mainly go to Syria and Jordan.
