The newly appointed ambassador of Republic of Korea to Armenia Wi Son Lak handed over his credentials to the President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan on March 15.
Armenian President congratulated the ambassador on his appointment, expressing hope that he will contribute to the development of bilateral ties, presidential press service reports.
The parties stated that the Armenian-Korean political dialogue has recorded much progress over the past few years.
Sargsyan and Wi Son Lak marked the importance of enhancing cooperation within international organizations, as well as in the sectors of trade, economy and culture.
The ambassador said the upcoming visit of the Armenian President to Korea will take the Armenian-Korean political dialogue to a new level.
