According to Zhoghovurd paper’s sources, vice prime minister, Minister for Territorial Administration Armen Gevorgyan has been offered to join the Republican Party of Armenia.
By a preliminary agreement, all ministers were supposed to get RPA membership cards from President Serzh Sargsyan; however, Gevorgyan refused this offer.
In an attempt to clarify the issue, the paper addressed a written inquiry to the ministry’s PR department. “The issue you’ve raised has not been discussed with Armenian vice prime minister, Minister for Territorial Administration Armen Gevorgyan. As to the information contained therein with regard to Gevorgyan, it does not correspond to the reality,” the response said.
