A jubilee week dedicated to the 80-th birthday of well-known producer of Armenian origin Sergey Parajanov will begin in Moscow March 23. The program will tell about S. Parajanov’s many-sided talent as a producer, scriptwriter and artist, whose works belong to Armenia, Russia and Georgia equally. The week will be started with an exhibition of works of painters and sculptors devoted to the master. One of the key events will be the premiere of “Parajanov” performance, where the shots from “Confession”, his last and unfinished film, which the producer began to shoot in 1990 shortly before his death, are to be shown.
