The Armenian community of the US expressed dissatisfaction with the work of the Bush Administration by issuing yesterday the 2004 Armenian American Presidential Report Card. As reported by the Armenian National Committee of America, the report card does record of broken promises, neglect, and opposition to more than a dozen issues of concern to Armenian American voters. The matter concerns, in part, President Bush’s decision to abandon his campaign pledge to recognize the Armenian Genocide, opposition to the Congressional Genocide Resolution, reduction in aid to Armenia, abandonment of the Military Aid Parity Agreement, neglect of US-Armenia relations, refusal to pressure Turkey and Azerbaijan to end their blockades.
