US PRESIDENTIAL CONTENDER SAYS ARMENIAN GENOCIDE INTERNATIONAL RECOGNITION NECESSARY

US Democratic nominee John Kerry stated of the necessity of the international recognition of the Armenian Genocide in Ottoman Turkey. The message delivered by J. Kerry at the eve of the 89-th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide says that “the government of the Ottoman Empire deported and killed over 1,5 million Armenians during the period of 1915-1923”. “I join the Armenians of the US and of the whole world, who grieve for the Genocide victims and call the governments and people to officially recognize the tragedy” J. Kerry said.
