FIRST ARMENIAN TEMPLE BEING BUILT IN URAL

In the Russian city of Yekaterinburg the building of the first Armenian temple in Ural is launched. As Chairman of Ani-Armenia local non-governmental organization Masis Nazarian told TASS-Ural news agency, probably every Armenian living in the Middle Ural contributes to the building of the church. In his words, the temple will open in approximately 2 years. According to the source, some 20 thousand Armenians live in the Sverdlov region, 10 thousand out of them are Yekaterinburg residents.
