ADMINISTRATION OF THREE US STATES TO SECOND MEASURES COMMEMORATING ARMENIAN GENOCIDE IN OTTOMAN TURKEY

The administration of three US states have declared their readiness to second commemoration ceremonies of the victims of the Armenian Genocide in Ottoman Turkey at the beginning of last century. The New Jersey, Wisconsin and Illinois leadership have officially announced their readiness to take part of the expenses of marking April 24 the 88-th anniversary of the tragic event in 1915, when Turkish authorities launched mass extermination of ethnic Armenians. The aid is expected to be granted in the form of rendering free of charge room for ceremonies and transportation for the participants. Besides official authorities, as reported by “Arminfo” agency, the American public also states its support of the idea of holding a commemoration ceremony.
