Kentikian expects a tough fight against McMorrow

Armenian boxer Susi Kentikian said she is glad to be back in Frankfurt to defend her female lightweight belt against Melissa McMorrow on May 16.

“I am delighted to come back to Frankfurt. Melissa McMorrow is a boxer who always goes forward. She has boxed very good names. This is certainly a tough fight,” Kentikian told journalists in Frankfurt, Germany.

“We have been training for over a month and we will be prepared for May 16,” Kentikian’s trainer Magomed Shaburov said at the press conference.

“For Susi, Frankfurt is like her living room. She was here in October in an excellent fight and on May 16 she will do it again. The boxing program promises to be an exciting fight night,” Fightnews.com quotes promoter Ulf Steinforth as saying.

Armenian “Killer Queen” Susi Kentikian (29-0, 16 KOs) will rival U.S. Melissa McMorrow (6-3-3, 0 KOs) on May 16.
