Georgian defense minister David Tevzadze visited the Akhaltsikhe region of Georgia mostly populated by Armenians. As reported by “A-Info” agency, the minister had a closed meeting with Georgian president’s representative in Samtskhe-Javakhetia Teymuraz Mosiashvili. Nothing was reported about the purposes of the visit, and D. Tevzadze avoided answering journalists’ questions. The commander of the 21-st militarized brigade deployed in Akhaltsikhe only noted that the minister’s visit was part of the check-up being held by the Georgian defense ministry.
