On the initiative of the Ministry of Education of Brandenburg (Germany) starting with this year textbooks at local schools include information about the Armenian Genocide in Ottoman Turkey in 1915-1921. This was said during a recent visit to Germany paid by an Armenian delegation headed by Prime Minister Andranik Margarian. In the course of the meeting with Brandenburg Minister of Science and Education Stephan Reiche A. Margarian discussed the opportunity of recognition of the Armenian Genocide by the legislative bodies of individual lands of the FRG.
