METROPOLITAN OPERA SOLOIST GAVE CHARITY CONCERT IN NAGORNO KARABAKH

Famous Canadian singer of Armenian origin, soloist of the Metropolitan Opera Isabel Bayrakdarian (soprano) gave a charity concert in Nagorno Karabakh capital of Stepanakert on July 24. On the same day she met with NKR President Arkadi Ghukasian. During the conversation the singer pointed out to the great interest of the Karabakh people show to the art. In her opinion, this testifies that “aspiration to the beautiful, the Armenians have been always remarkable for, became essential part of the life of the Karabakh people, who could preserve and supplement the best traditions for the formation of an intellectually mature personality”.
