Today Armenian President Robert Kocharian sent a telegram of condolence to Russia’s President Vladimir Putin in view of the terrorist act in the Northern Osetia. The message in part says: “Armenia was indignant on hearing the news that schoolchildren, their parents and teachers were taken hostage in the Russian town of Beslan. Armenian people are experiencing the agony of suspense with the Russians. We express our support to the people and leadership of Russia in the fierce struggle against terrorism.”
