49-year-old resident of Batumi Grigori Vardanian was elected the new chairman of Renaissance, the Union of Armenians of Ajaria. As reported by A-Info news agency, the newly elected chairman has set himself a task to consolidate the community as well as strengthen the ties with the fatherland and Armenian communities all over the world. To note, earlier G. Vardanian occupied posts in various governmental departments in Ajaria.
