COOPERATION BETWEEN LAW-ENFORCEMENT BODIES OF ARMENIA AND UKRAINE HAS PRACTICAL RESULTS, ARMENIAN POLICE CHIEF CONSIDERS

The cooperation between the law-enforcement bodies of Armenia and Ukraine has practical results, which get improved each year. It was stated by Chief of the Police of Armenia, lieutenant general Hayk Harutyunian after the ceremony of meeting Ukrainian Minister of Internal Affairs, colonel general Mikola Bilokon. In the words of the Ukrainian minister, he will discuss with his Armenian colleague questions of strengthening fight against organized crime, illegal turnover of arms and drugs, as well as strengthening cooperation in struggle against manifestations of terrorism. As reported by the Armenian Police Chief, a protocol on cooperation between the Police of the Republic of Armenia and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Ukraine till 2005, aiming at “activation of our interaction over the most important directions of cooperation,” will be signed today as a result of the meeting.
