Along with the Baltic states, Russia, Georgia, Kazakhstan and Kirghizia the World Bank included Armenia in the second group of the countries compiled according to the conditions favorable for business. In the annual report called “Business in 2005: elimination of obstacles for development”, the WB experts analyzed business atmosphere in the majority of the countries of the world. After evaluating 145 states according to 7 major activities, including the conditions necessary for establishing business, hiring and dismissal of employees, credit receiving, etc., the WB specialists divided the countries into 5 groups. In the first group the countries most favorable for business activities are included, the fifth one includes the states with least favorable conditions. To note, Azerbaijan, Belarus and Ukraine have been included into the fourth group.
