Armenian judoka Armen Nazaryan (66 kg) beat Hovhannes Davtyan in European Cup Senior final in Prague to win the tournament.
Though both judokas performed in U66 kg category, Davtyan will represent Armenia in U60 kg weight class.
In conversation with a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter, team coach Arthur Gevorgyan noted the athletes’ performance at European Cup Senior as a preparatory stage for London Olympics.
Armenian judokas will later hold a joint team practice session with teams from the Ukraine, Romania and Moldova.
