Washington and Baku have achieved agreement on deployment of the US military bases at the territory of Azerbaijan and in “regions of Fizuli, Jebrail and Zangelan seized by Armenians”, Echo Baku newspaper reported alluding to United Press International. According to the source, the agreement was achieved during the meeting of Assistant Secretary of State for Eurasian Affairs Steven Pifer and Azerbaijani Defense Minister Safar Abiyev. To note, Tehran is concerned over the fact as the above mentioned regions are bordering with Iran, the newspaper writes.
