The work on the project of the construction of the Armenian sector of the Iran-Armenia gas pipeline will be finished in the near future, High-Voltage Power Line CJSC director general Sahak Abrahamian told Arminfo news agency. To remind, due to the agreement on the gas pipeline construction, concluded in Yerevan on May 13, 2004, Iran has to deliver gas to Armenia beginning with the year 2007 and to provide the country with 36 billion of cubic meters of gas within 20 years. Let us note that Armenia is to supply Iran with energy in exchange.
