October 19 the first forum of the European Armenian Federation was held in the building of the European Parliament in Brussels. As reported by Regnum news agency, the same day Turkish Belgian Platform and the European Center of Azerbaijanis held an anti-Armenian rally, timed to the Congress. In the words of the rally organizers, the action aimed at attracting the European community attention to “the misdeeds of Armenians.” As head of the Armenian National Committee of Europe Hilda Tchoboian had stated before, the inclusion of the Armenian issue in the process of Turkey’s accession to the European Union is a priority task for the forum participants.
