Russian Minister of Transport Igor Levitin and Georgian Minister of Economic Development Kakha Bendukidze discussed the possibilities of coordination of functioning of the Russian, Georgian, Armenian and Azeri railways. In this view K. Bendurkidze told journalists, “Unfortunately, Armenia and Azerbaijan cannot hold immediate talks on this matter. So, Russia and Georgia should take the initiative.” In his turn I. Levitin stated that after visiting Yerevan and Baku he arrived in Tbilisi to make out whether a technological solution of this issue is possible.
