“Official Washington does not support the idea of discussion of questions of occupied territories of Azerbaijan at the UN General Assembly,” US Ambassador in Baku Reno Harnish stated in an interview with ATV channel. As noted by the American diplomat, “the US sees the successful solution of the Karabakh problem in frequent peaceful talks between the parties.” Besides, as underscored by R. Harnish, official Baku has to make a concrete decision on the arrival of Armenian parliamentarians in Azerbaijan within the framework of the coming NATO seminar. According to the NATO statute, all countries cooperating with the Alliance have to participate in such events, the Ambassador reminded.
