Armenian grandmaster Hrant Melkumyan scored 9,5 points out of 13 to come 4th at blitz tournament held in the framework of Biel Chess Festival. With 9 points Sergei Movsesian took the 8th place.
France’s Maxime Vachier-Lagrave won the tournament gold with 11,5 points.
Meanwhile, Tigran L. Petrosian scored 5 points to lead 21st Open Chess Tournament of Kavala with grandmasters Surya Shekhar Ganguly and Abhijeet Gupta, armchess.am reported.
