CATHOLICOS OF ALL ARMENIANS CONDEMNED EXPLOSION OF ARMENIAN CHURCH IN IRAQ

Catholicos of all Armenians Garegin II has condemned the explosions of an Armenian and Chaldean churches in Mosul town (Iraq). As reported by the Holy Echmiadzin Press Service, the Catholicos noted that the acts of terrorism endanger the peaceful coexistence of Christians and Muslims. Garegin II called on the religious leaders of the Christian and Islamic communities, as well as the peoples of Iraq to display will and consciousness to prevent the threat of attributing a religious quality to the political crisis in Iraq.
