Official Ankara stand on relations with Yerevan remains unchangeable. As reported by Zerkalo Baku newspaper, Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Turan Morali stated it in the course of a meeting with Azeri Milli Mejlis (Parliament) Speaker Murtuz Aleskerov. Having touched upon the issue of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, the Speaker stated that “Turkey is with Azerbaijan, as always.” He noted that “there are forces, which want to damage Azeri-Turkish bilateral relations and work for establishing economic and political ties with Armenia, however it is not the position of official Ankara.”
