The Karabakh conflict has been solved long ago. There is no problem of solution of the Karabakh conflict, as it has been solved on the part of the Armenian party, representatives of Protection of the Liberated Territories non-governmental initiative consider. Armen Aghayan, a representative of the organization, also stated that that in their opinion the Karabakh conflict does not have and cannot have an international solution either within the Minsk Group or the Council of Europe format.
At their press conference today Initiative representatives expressed discontent on the rumor on the return of the liberated territories that is being exaggerated lately. The organization considers that Armenians do not have to chose between different programs approved by some international functionaries, but can work out their own program, which will guaranty a worthy and secure life in the homeland. Most of the NGO members are veterans of the Liberation War, who fought within the Sushi battalion well known for its discipline and professionalism and whose commander was Zhirayr Seflian.
