ALIYEV: TURKEY STANDS BY AZERBAIJAN IN KARABAKH SETTLEMENT

Turkey stands by Azerbaijan in the Nagorno Karabakh settlement, Azeri President Ilham Aliyev stated at a meeting with Turkish Parliament Speaker Bulent Arinc and his delegation. Aliyev thanked Arinc for Turkey’s support that led to the adoption of a decision by the European Council that describes Armenia’s actions in Karabakh as ”an occupation of Azeri territory”. In his turn Arinc expressed a desire to see the end of “Armenian occupation of Karabakh.”
