US GOVERNMENT READY TO ASSIGN ARMENIA $1 MILLION TO LIQUIDATE PROPELLANT COMPONENTS

The US government is ready to allocate $1 million to Armenia for the realization of the program the reuse and liquidation of the rocket propellant components, Deputy Chief of Mission from the U.S. Embassy Anthony Godfrey stated. The program worked out by the Yerevan Office was started last year. According to the program Coordinator Matthieu Goodstein, the first phase of the program is already over, the second phase provides for the liquidation of the dangerous components and their processing in agricultural fertilizers. Norway, Germany, and the UN also assisted to the implementation of the second phase of the program.
