UK GOVERNMENT TO PAY OFF 10% OF ARMENIA’S DEBT TO WB

The UK government till the year 2015 will pay 10% of Armenia’s debt to the World Bank . During the next year Armenia is to pay $8 million to the World Bank, and in 2006 and 2007 $11 million and $12 million respectively. The UK will pay 10% of these sums, that is $800 thousand in 2005, $1.1 million in 2006 and $1.2 million in 2007. Totally till year 2015 the UK assistance to Armenia for paying off the debt to the WB will make $20 million. Beside Armenia, UK will render assistance to Mongolia, Vietnam, Nepal and Sri Lanka.
