In the course of the check-up held by State Customs Committee and the Ministry of Transport at the Azeri-Georgian border, some 200 carriages with oil products are unloaded. These were to go to Armenia as transit goods via Georgia. The cargo headed from the eastern coast of the Caspian as transit goods via Azerbaijan. Negotiations are held with supplier companies at present. Azerbaijan considers itself authorized not to allow passage of loads for Armenia through its territory, as it was stipulated by documents on creation and functioning of TRACECA (Europe-Asia) transport corridor. Azerbaijan had joined the agreement under the condition that cargo destined for Armenia will not pass through its territory.
