OSCE PA TO DISCUSS SPECIAL REPRESENTATIVE REPORT ON KARABAKH AT WINTER SESSION

February 24, at the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly winter session in Vienna Azeri delegation will raise the issue of changes in the Minsk Group activities. Besides, the PA summer session agenda will be discussed at the session. “We want the issues of Nagorno Karabakh, refugees and resettlers, reviving and strengthening the Minsk group work to be submitted for official discussion at the OSCE PA summer session in Washington. We will do our best for the Washington session agenda to include those items,” member of Azerbaijan’s permanent delegation in the OSCE PA Rabiyet Aslanova stated. Besides, preliminary discussion of the report of the OSCE PA special representative for the Karabakh issue Goran Lenmarker on the situation over the settlement is expected to be discussed at the session. R. Aslanova has reported that “there are many vague wordings in Goran Lenmarker’s report and it is difficult to evaluate the document unambiguously.”
