An explosion took place in the construction site of the new building of the US diplomatic representation in Armenia, Arminfo news agency reported. Due to an explosion of the electric substation of the construction Shengavit community of the capital was fully deprived of electricity. In the words of Press Secretary of Electric Networks of Armenia CJSC Margarita Grigorian, the substation was autonomous and was in the construction site. The fire that broke up after the explosion is now put out and police details and electrical engineers work at the scene, trying to find out the cause of the explosion. The electricity supply of the community is restored.
