In case of necessity Georgia can undertake the role of a mediator for establishing the Armenian-Turkish relations, Georgian Foreign Minister Salome Zurabishvili, who is on a visit to Turkey, said. At the same time she noted that neither of the parties has addressed with such a request yet. “Turkey is assisting us on withdrawing the Russian military bases from Georgia. This political assistance is very important for us”, the Georgian Foreign Minister noted.
