Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian met with Mexican senators as part of his visit to Latin American countries, the RA MFA press office reported.
Minister Nalbandian noted that though 2012 marks the 20th anniversary of establishment of bilateral diplomatic relations, certain moves harmed the cooperation between Armenia and Mexico.
“The Nagorno Karabakh resolutions adopted by the Mexican parliament’s last convocation runs counter to the international community’s position and encourages Azerbaijan’s destructive stance,” he said.
Mexican senators, in turn, deemed the negotiations as the only solution to Karabakh conflict, urging the conflicting parties to take measures for speedy establishment of peace.
