Defense ministers of Russia and Azerbaijan Sergey Ivanov and Safar Abiyev signed an intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in the military-engineering sphere. The Russian defense minister emphasized that the document in particular provided for “the opportunity of signing treaties on certain supplies of arms and ammunition.” In his words, that will not upset balance of power in the region.
