LAURA KENNEDY TO CALL TURKISH LEADERSHIP TO OPEN BORDER WITH ARMENIA

Deputy Assistant to the US Secretary of State Laura Kennedy is arriving in Ankara to discuss a number of issues with the Turkish top officials, Yerkir Online reports. During her visit to Ankara Laura Kennedy is also expected to touch upon the Armenian Genocide perpetrated in the Ottoman Empire at the beginning of last century and call Turkey to open the border with Armenia.
