Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan met with President of the French National Assembly Claude Bartolone.
President Sargsyan hailed the activity of French-Armenian parliamentary friendship groups, stressing the importance of the cooperation in the framework of international organizations.
The French official, in turn, expressed readiness to continue cooperation with Yerevan, noting that his country highly assesses Armenia’s European integration processes, implemented during Serzh Sargsyan’s term in office.
The two men further underscored the role of the Armenian community in strengthening of friendly ties with France, with President Sargsyan voicing gratitude to the French parliament for assisting in the settlement of Armenia-related issues.
Regional issues and Nagorno Karabakh conflict resolution were also on agenda, presidential press service reported.
