Argentina-based David Nalbandian will participate in VTR Open, due February 4-10, 2013 in Chile, the tournament director said.
As Alvaro Villol noted, the player had already submitted an application expressing his readiness to perform at the tennis open.
“Nicolás Almagro has also addressed us with a letter,” El Mercurio quoted Villol as saying.
Nalbandian participated in VTR Open in 2001, 2002 and 2011. Argentina’s Juan Mónaco is the current champion.
