KLO PROTESTS AGAINST OSCE MG TRIP TO KARABAKH VIA ARMENIA

Azeri Karabakh Liberation Organization (KLO) activists have held a picket in front of the building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Azerbaijan during the meeting of Foreign Minister E. Mamedyarov with OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs Steven Mann (US), Yuri Merzlyakov (Russia) and Bernard Fassier (France). The rally participants expressed protest against the trip of the mediators to Nagorno Karabakh through Armenia. As the picket resolution notes, “Nagorno Karabakh is a territory of Azerbaijan and the OSCE MG Co-Chairs should not go there via Armenia.” In 10 minutes after the beginning of the unsanctioned rally police arrived at the location and broke up the rally. Several KLO activists are detained, Regnum news agency reported.
