Armenian grandmaster Sergei Movsesian scored his first win in tournament B of Tata Steel Chess Festival, ongoing in Dutch town of Wijk aan Zee.
Movsesian beat Predrag Nikolić in the 3rd round to climb to the 3rd spot with 2 points. Movsesian will face off against Richárd Rapport in the next round, due Jan 15.
Grigor-Sevak Mkhitarian (Brazil) scored 2.5 points to come 4th in tournament C.
