INTERNATIONAL CENTER FOR TRANSITIONAL JUSTICE CONSIDERED UN GENOCIDE CONVENTION APPLICABILITY TO ARMENIAN GENOCIDE IN OTTOMAN TURKEY

The other day the International Center for Transitional Justice considered the issue of applicability of the UN Genocide Convention to the Armenian Genocide in Ottoman Turkey in 1915-1923. “Arminfo” agency reports referring to the “Groong” site. As it is known, the Turkish-Armenian reconciliation commission has addressed that international organization requesting to consider the issue. The commission recurrent meeting will be held soon to continue work on reconciling the two neighboring countries.
