The main purpose of Turkey is to exterminate small peoples, such as Kurds, Greeks, Armenians and others. In this respect the preparing war with Iraq may turn out next tragedy for the national minorities of Turkey. As reported by “De Facto” agency, said representative of the Caucasian office of the “Council of the Democratic and Free Kurdistan” Yilmaz Shas at a recurrent conference in Yerevan. At the same time he emphasized that Azerbaijan, following the course of the Turkish policy, also infringed upon the rights of Kurds, which make some 200 thousand in the republic. “Kurdish organizations are virtually prohibited there, we are denied the freedom of speech and liberty of conscious,” – Yilmaz Shas reported.
