MEETING OF RELIGIOUS LEADERS OF RUSSIA AND SOUTH CAUCASUS NOT RULED OUT

The opportunity of holding the meeting of the religious leaders of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Russia is not ruled out. The Holy Echmiadzin press service told “Arminfo” agency. According to Russian sources, the meeting is supposed to take place in Moscow this May. The ways of peaceful settlement of conflicts in the Caucasus are expected to be discussed at the meeting, which will pass an official concluding statement. Meanwhile, the Moscow Patriarchy found it difficult to confirm the information. “Such a meeting is talked about for a long period of time – a trilateral one with Armenia, Azerbaijan and Russia participating. But there is no information available on the terms of the meeting,” – a Patriarchy representative said.
