Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov favors Turkey’s accession to the EU. “Like many European states and the U.S. we welcome possibility of Turkey’s accession to the EU,” the Russian FM stated in Paris. To remind the EU-Turkey talks started October 3 and can last 10-15 years.
